yay i finally reformatted my com! no more funny popups and random obscene images. hahaha. all is well EXCEPT that i can't transfer all my files back from my other com cos my modem is screwed ): so i have no music and no pictures. how sad is that.

exams are over! but school carries on as normal. funny feeling since i didn't have mid year exams my whole secondary school life, so usually after a major exam its FREEDOM. oh well i bet my results are going to be screwed. real screwed. ESPECIALLY MATHS. best thing is that i don't regret not studying hard during holidays (: i just hope my my mum doesn't flip when results come out. hahah.

LUNCH TODAY WAS DARN GOOD. not only was the food good, the best thing is that i got to eat with my parents for the first time in a VERY LONG TIME. dang curry fishhead, sotong, prawns, otah, kangkong. and still rather cheap! i'm gonna drag some people there with me one day to eat again. hahah.

oh i love wedding dinners. that is, "mother's side" wedding dinners. cos basically i like all the people on my mother's side. haha. CONGRATS TO GEORGE AND DANNICA. not sure i spelt the name correctly, but you won't see this anyway =D hmmm anyway this is the first time i've really enjoyed the wedding, because for the first time in my life i'm old enough to notice and appreciate what was going on. haha. i was even good enough to record my thoughts in my handphone along the way. this shall be an interesting entry. lol.

ok lets go. let me start by saying, when relatives converge, "friendly" competition between the mothers tend to occur. in this case it was my mother vs aunty tina. oliver vs yandi. haven't seen them for a long time and i suppose yandi is sorta like very tall now too. haha yea so my mum and aunty tina were talking about out heights. my mum as usual was trying to boast about my height, "he very tall now! taller than yandi!" and aunty tina goes, "hurhur (complementing laugh) ya quite tall." then she suddenly looks and my shoes and goes, "eh that one how many more inches ah?" ok so i just kept quiet and let the duel continue. i can't stand it when relatives talk like that. haha. anyway aunty tina was just like chit chatting for the mood of the even the whole time. oh well.

and then suddenly everyone arrived wahaha. and it all ends up with me being surrounded by all the uncles and aunties, like i'm some exhibitionist. haha. but yea all i heard were repetitive comments. "oh no what happened to oliver! he's so different! so tall and handsome! (pui)" "wah i see him outside sure cannot recognise him for sure, last time like ball now lang jai ah! (ball hurhur)" yea got more but don't wanna say haha. of course i just stood in the middle and started blushing and i just ended up saying oh please let me off. haha. yea and they did. phew. but anyway i think i really look quite different. cos my when one of my uncles came he greeted my mum, then my dad, then DAOED me. until my mother went oi this is oliver la! then he's like OMG. hahah. then he tried to lie. "actually i never greet him because he too tall la." adults. sigh.

ok this entry is turning out to be a really long one. but anyway our table was just beside the main table! and right in front of the beautiful wedding singers band. haha. they totally rock, the singer can totally pwnz singapore idol. they made a difference to the dinner with their musical entertainment really. haha. but yea MY TABLE consisted of my entire "god family". that is my dad's godson, my dad's godpa. and their wives. and all around the same age. lol quite funny. and of course. one really PLEASANT indian couple from australia. ahaha. they made quite a difference too!

anyway random comments were being made on the table and i kinda like found them erm. interesting. haha. godsis was just asking my mum whats the difference btw a deacon and a priest (deacon is one step lower) and then she said actually godbro told her to check dictionary but then she just decided to ask mum. yea then godbro tried to be funny. "you know what i think. deacon is similar to bacon!" HAHA so funny. adult humour omg. my mum and dad laughed. -_- ok then the brilliant indian lady! at first my mum sad beside her and she wasn't too happy, cos she wanted someone to talk to but then she didn't know my mum. but AMAZINGLY both of them clicked so well that they couldn't stop talking. haha my mother was speaking in a really weird slang. so weird.

ok so i was listening to both of them and some of the indian lady's sentences just caught my ear. haha. now i invite all of you to move into indian slang! "OH YOU KNOW! my husband travels so much that i've been to uk, usa etc. but let me tell you what i think. the english are just snobbish! americans have NO TIME for you. but australians are the best people in the world! ooo yea." ok its not really funny here but you should hear it live. haha. oh and she also said somewhere later "all the chinese women i've met are so young looking! all of you have so beautiful complexion!" and then for a moment my mum went. "oh no...not really. *blushes*" omg TOTALLAY. haha.

I do not know if there is any reason for fixing the height of the ez-link card reader on the bus, but I saw a struggle because of the current height.

A commuter could not unzip his back pocket. His friend tried too but in vain while the entire bus waited anxiously. Finally, his friend had to lift him up so that his back pocket could reach the height of the reader.

May I suggest the reader be fixed a few inches lower, so that most men can tap without taking the ez-link card out of their pocket?

It may help children and will not disadvantage female travellers.
